The Role
We're seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of the product UI that recruiting teams and candidates depend on daily. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining customer-facing features that directly impact how users experience our platform. You'll own the complete delivery cycle from design handoff through production deployment, ensuring that every feature meets our standards for quality, performance, and user experience.
As a key member of our engineering team, you'll collaborate closely with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs that power our frontend experiences. You'll also play a critical role in advancing our frontend infrastructure by improving performance, accessibility, and observability across the entire product.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates globally.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship production-ready frontend features that serve recruiting teams and candidates
- Own end-to-end feature delivery from initial design handoff through production deployment and monitoring
- Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and integration to ensure seamless data flow and optimal user experiences
- Improve frontend performance, accessibility standards, and observability across the product
- Write maintainable, well-tested code that balances speed of delivery with long-term product quality
- Contribute to architectural decisions that shape how our frontend evolves as the product grows
- Identify opportunities to simplify the product and improve the developer experience
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend tooling such as Vite, Webpack, or similar build systems
- Solid understanding of CSS, responsive design principles, and web accessibility standards
- Proven track record of shipping production features in fast-moving product environments
- High agency and ownership mentality with the ability to drive projects independently
- Strong judgment around testing strategies and code quality
- Clear, effective communication skills for collaborating with distributed teams
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience building real-time user interfaces using WebSockets, WebRTC, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with design systems and component library development
- Previous experience working on AI-powered products or automation platforms
