We're looking for a competitive, people-focused business leader who wants more than a management job. You love building teams, developing leaders, competing for results and taking ownership of a business.
As a General Sales Manager, you'll lead across four critical areas: People. Performance. Profitability. Operations.
You'll stay close to the business, leading visibly from the sales floor and using real-time performance insights, direct observation and hands-on coaching to understand what's happening and take action when results need to change.
You don't just manage the store. You own the result.
Your Compensation Opportunity
Your compensation reflects the level of ownership and impact expected from this role.
- 13-Week Training Pay: $105,000-$115,000 annualized during your training and certification period.
- Base Salary After Training: $85,000-$100,000.
- Weekly Performance Bonus Opportunity: In addition to your base salary, you'll have the opportunity to earn weekly performance bonuses based on key business results, including revenue, sleep, financing applications and protection.
- Target Total Compensation: $115,000-$150,000 annually, based on achievement of performance expectations.
- Quarterly Leadership Bonus: In addition to your weekly performance opportunity, you can earn up to $7,200 annually through a separate quarterly bonus tied to team engagement, team member health, retention and customer experience.
Bonus opportunities are not guaranteed and remain subject to performance achievement, financial goals, eligibility rules and program requirements.
Lead the Business
As General Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of the overall performance and health of the store. You'll set direction, develop leaders and create the accountability needed to deliver sustainable results.
People
Build a team people want to be part of. Hire and develop great talent, coach leaders, strengthen the leadership bench and create an environment where people can grow. You’ll set clear expectations and hold your leadership team accountable for both business results and the development of their people.
Performance
Know the numbers and the behaviors behind them. Own achievement of the store’s sales goals and maintain a strong command of the performance measures that drive the business, including sales, close rate, average sale, sales per guest, protection, sleep, financing and appointment generation. Lead from the sales floor, using real-time performance insights, direct observation and hands-on coaching to turn opportunities into action.
Profitability
Think and act like a business owner. Understand how revenue, margin, productivity, staffing and operating decisions work together. Use that understanding to make sound business decisions, improve performance and build greater business acumen throughout your leadership team.
Operations
Create a store that’s ready to win every day. Establish accountability across the leadership team and drive strong execution, an outstanding customer experience and a store environment that is consistently prepared to do business.
Grow People. Build Leaders.
Great General Sales Managers don't create results alone. They build teams and leaders capable of producing results consistently.
You'll coach and develop your Sales Manager and emerging leaders, build succession and strengthen the talent pipeline for the future. Your own development doesn't stop after onboarding. You'll continue building your leadership capabilities through coaching, development experiences and real-world business ownership.
