  • Lead security investigations into emerging threats, analyzing attack patterns and adversarial behaviors to understand evolving risks
  • Conduct comprehensive threat modeling exercises to anticipate and prepare for novel abuse vectors specific to AI systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Policy to implement holistic security solutions
  • Respond to security incidents with urgency and precision, coordinating response efforts and conducting post-incident analysis
  • Build and refine machine learning models to detect anomalous behavior and identify sophisticated abuse patterns at scale
  • Develop metrics and monitoring systems to measure the effectiveness of abuse prevention efforts
  • Contribute to the broader security community by sharing insights on AI-specific security challenges and solutions

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in security engineering with a focus on abuse prevention, fraud detection, or trust and safety
  • Proven expertise in threat modeling and risk assessment, particularly for complex technical systems
  • Demonstrated experience with incident response, including investigation, containment, and remediation
  • Deep understanding of secure system design principles and defense-in-depth strategies
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, or similar) with the ability to write production-quality code
  • Experience analyzing large-scale datasets to identify patterns and anomalies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think like an adversary
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex security concepts to diverse audiences
  • Background in applying machine learning techniques to security problems at scale (highly preferred)
  • Experience with cloud security and distributed systems architecture (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AI/ML systems and their unique security considerations (preferred)
  • Previous experience in high-growth technology companies or handling security at scale (preferred)

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to work on cutting-edge security challenges at the forefront of AI technology
  • Collaboration with world-class researchers, engineers, and security professionals
  • Competitive compensation package including salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Generous paid time off and flexible work arrangements
